Success Story - Java PDF Print E-mail

Java was found tied to a dumpster outside a coffee shop in Phoenix.  However poorly she may have been treated in the past – she held no ill feelings towards people.  Java had nothing but kisses and a wagging tail for the kind hands that helped her get off the streets. She appeared so grateful and happy, never letting on how sick she was.  When Java came into the care of Poverty's Pets, her first two weeks were spent at an animal hospital recovering from a host of ailments.

When Java was finally healthy and ready to find a loving home, Poverty's Pets heard from a couple in Alaska.  Of course, we wondered why they would want a dog from Phoenix....surely there were dogs for adoption in Alaska??  For whatever reason, and we are ever so thankful; Jason and Kea had to have Java.  They were planning a trip to Scottsdale for business and contacted us months prior.  They continued to check in with us to make sure Java was still available.  It was love at first site when Kea and Jason finally met Java and were able to hug and play with her.  Needless to say, Java moved to Alaska with her new parents and is now living large.  This lucky dog has a blog which is featured on our site and her own Facebook page.  Java has a middle name now, Java “Bean”!!   We wish all Pit Bulls were treated with the love and kindness that Jason and Kea give to Java.  Please check out Java Bean at :  http://javabeandog.blogspot.com.  Thank you Jason and Kea for loving our coffee shop rescue!
